BETI UPCYCLE^ AND 3. NATIONAL CYCLING CONFERENCE
We are always striving to be first on the road to sustainability. That’s why we are working hard on a number of projects to make them more sustainable. One of the projects that we are especially proud of is BETI UPCYCLE.
ALL ON THE SAME PATH: projects for more sustainability
Beti d.o.o. in cooperation with partners, provides extensive support in the creation of environmentally friendly textile products. That’s why we gladly accepted the invitation of the organizers of the Cycling Conference to create a recycled sock from leftover yarn especially for this occasion BETI UPCYCLE. The entire conference was organized with an emphasis on reducing carbon emissions.
3. National Cycling Conference
On World Cycling Day, the Ministry of Environment, Climate and Energy organized the 3rd National Cycling Conference in the Rog Center in Ljubljana. The conference focused on strategies to promote sustainable transportation, especially cycling, at the national, local and employer levels. Speakers at the conference were: Kristof De Mesmaeker, from the Public Service for Mobility of the City of Brussels; Marco Mulder, passionate transport planner and representative of the Dutch Cycling Embassy; Lea Rikato Ružić, a traffic planner at PNZ d.o.o. and president of the Ljubljana Bicycle Network.
BETI UPCYCLE^
The event offered insight into current trends and best practices in using cycling as a daily means of transportation, and allowed attendees to connect with leading experts in the field and network with fellow cycling enthusiasts. And of course, attendees had the chance to grab some Beti upcycle^ socks.
