Either pre- or post-consumer recycled yarns, bio-based or bio-degradable – all this you will find in our assortment. Beti was one of the pioneers in the sustainable yarns. As far back as in 2014 we conquered the world championship in Brazil, with 100% recycled polyester. Well, Ronaldo did, in socks made from Beti’s yarn.

Full product develoment
Years of experience and keeping up to date with the latest trends and developments in the textile industry make us fully equipped for the development of different types of synthetic yarns. Starting from finding the best materials available on the market to fine-tuning and precision in the yarn processing, to matching the yarn properties to your product requirements.
LAB testing
Our 2 modern labs are well-equipped to perform different yarn or fabric tests that can support you in your product development. The expert team performs more than 30 test methods according to ISO and AATCE methods. Yarn tenacity, crimp, fastness to rubbing, washing fastness, perspiration, Martindale test – these are just a few that are performed daily.
Circular projects
In partnership with Knof Circular Lab, a social enterprise, successful projects were completed. From coasters made out of Beti’s end-of-life plastic yarn carriers to beautiful designer socks made from yarn rests. Together with Knof, we offer you the possibility to develop further projects or products that support circularity in the textile industry. We offer cooperation at different project stages or you can entrust us with the whole project of product development from A to Z.
Training
Dr. Petra Kovačič and mag. Maja Čibej have deep knowledge and experience in the topic of sustainability in textiles, and regularly provide lectures and training on the topic – either internally, as well as externally. Core competencies of yarn processing are another area where we’ve consulted and trained our partners in the past. So, if you want to learn more (yourself or your team) about the types and characteristics of sustainable yarns, types of recycled yarns, what are biodegradable yarns, the developments and availability of bio-based yarns, and the use of bio-based dyes or even circular design principles and approaches in fashion, we are there to support you.
