BETI and Komet: We believe in partnership
At the Komet store in Rosalnice, Metlika, a relaxed fashion event titled “Lingerie & Tulips & Sparkling Wine” took place, dedicated to women in honor of March 8th. The event was co-organized by the companies Beti and Komet.
At the event, Andreja Panjan Banovec, the director of Komet, presented the history of the company, which has been present in Metlika for over 60 years. Komet produces lingerie in Metlika from European materials. Maja Čibej, the director of Beti, highlighted their new innovative products in the field of recycled fashion, such as upcycled socks, hair elastics, and cushions. Upcycled and fun – these are the words that transported us into the world of sustainable fashion.
On stage, they were joined by Polona Hrovat Mavsar from Knof Circular Lab and Anja Medle, a successful young fashion designer. Polona impressed us with her enthusiasm for recycling, while Anja shared some stylish tricks on how to brighten the day with the right lingerie.
The highlight of the event was a mini fashion show, where we showcased collections of men’s and women’s lingerie from Komet, while the model was wearing upcycled socks from Beti.
In addition to high-quality and sustainable textile products, the main theme of the event was the partnerships that Beti is building in the local community – with Komet, Knof Circular Lab, and many other partners.
The event was an excellent opportunity for connecting local businesses and entrepreneurs, promoting sustainable fashion solutions, and drawing attention to the rich textile tradition in Metlika.
